Distance Learning Plan

The purpose of the Kauai Community College Distance Learning Plan is to promote the development of quality Distance Learning courses that best meets the needs of students on Kauai and beyond.

The considerations for the determination of need are:

1. Course Uniqueness and potential for capturing a "market"

2. Whether or not it is an AA online requirement course which is any of the core courses required to complete a liberal arts degree online or via cable. The following are particularly needed:

  • Speech 151 or 251 or COM 210
  • Natural Science Lab course
