ADDING & DROPPING COURSES (CLASSES)

ADDS & DROPS are done via the MyUH Portal.

TUTORIAL available at: MyUH Registration.

Should you see a counselor to add or drop courses, a $5 change fee is charged (from the late registration period) for every change processed. Payment should be made on the same day or a financial obligation will be incurred. A late registration period fee of $30.00 is charged when a student registers after the last day of regular registration for the Fall/Spring terms ($10.00 for Summer term).

Adding Semester-Length Courses  (grade options - factors which may affect your credits)

The deadline to add a semester-length course is the last day of late registration. Check the Academic Calendar for deadline.

Adding Non-Semester Length Courses  (grade options - factors which may affect your credits)

Non-semester length courses which have not started may be added.

Erase Period

Courses dropped during the first three weeks of the semester will not be recorded on your record and a "W" grade will not be assigned.

Dropping Semester-Length Courses

Check the Academic Calendar for withdrawal deadline.

Dropping Non-Semester Length Courses

Check the Refunds schedule for withdrawal deadline.

Alternately, navigate to your course from the Class Availability site and select the CRN (course reference number). Important Registration and Withdrawal Deadline Information will display for all courses.

Complete Withdrawal

Students may drop courses online via their MyUH Portal prior to the 1st day of instruction. If you are not allowed to withdraw from the last course listed under Current Schedule in your MyUH Portal, contact the Student Services Office at (808) 245-8212. There is no charge for a withdrawal from your last Kaua`i Community College course. Offical withdrawal is not complete until the required form has been filed and all financial obligations cleared.

Student Schedule/Bill

You will be issued a Student Schedule/Bill after your tuition and fees are paid. The schedule/bill lists all courses you are officially registered for and should be brought to class and the Bookstore as proof of registration. New Student Schedule/Bills are issued whenever you add or drop courses.
