animated pencil Complete the FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA by following instructions carefully. If you need assistance, call 1-800-4FED-AID (433-3243) or contact the college. Walk-in assistance is provided at the Financial Aid Office, Mon-Fri between 1 and 4 p.m. If you have an unusual circumstance, we recommend you make an appointment.

HINTS:

STEP 3:

The Central Processor will generate a Student Aid Report (SAR). You may call (800) 433-3243 for your application status and to request duplicate reports. Review and read the SAR comments to see if you need to make any corrections or updates. Walk-in assistance is available at the Financial Aid Office, Mon-Fri, 1-4 p.m.

The SAR will be electronically sent to the college after it has been processed. The college will use the SAR to determine your financial need, your eligibility, and your awards. If you are selected for verification, the Financial Aid Office will request the documents you used to complete your FAFSA. Access to some of the common forms used to complete verification is provided at this web site. You may check on your financial aid status by entering your myuhportal. Please keep the Financial Aid Office informed of any changes to your address or phone.

PLEASE NOTE:
The assistance that you are applying for when you complete the FAFSA is based on financial need. If you do not feel that you will demonstrate need, there are several other resources that you can apply for and some of those resources are described in our scholarship section.
