Financial Aid Scholarships

CAMPUS SCHOLARSHIPS can be divided into three categories: NEED, GENERAL, and DEPARTMENT. Below is an alphabetical list of campus scholarships by category. To qualify for most of these scholarships you must be a classified student at KAUCC, enroll in a minimum of six credits, and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00.

If you are a FIRST-TIME or recent TRANSFER student to KAUCC you must submit a copy of your recent transcript to the Financial Aid Office so the committee can verify your grade point average for these scholarships.

NEED-BASED - Priority deadline to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is APRIL 1st. The FAFSA is processed continuously throughout the school year. If you are awarded a scholarship it will be appear on your Award Letter and if required, a separate scholarship application will be mailed.

In addition to the above scholarships there are Tuition Assistance Programs based on MERIT or NEED. The deadline for Tuition Scholarships is AUG 1st for the Fall and JAN 15th for the Spring terms.

KAUCC's SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION is good for one academic year and when you apply, you are applying for ALL of the GENERAL and DEPARTMENT Scholarships listed. Be sure you see the "Congratulations" message to know that you submitted your completed scholarship application by the deadline. It is recommended that you obtain the e-mail addresses for 2-3 references and complete your career essay before you begin your application.

GENERAL - All majors! Complete the SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION by: APR 1st

DEPARTMENT - Complete the SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION by the announced deadline Mid-September ~ 15th for fall and Mid-February for spring. NOTE: All admitted Nursing students are required to complete a FAFSA before the selection committee meets.
