Financial Summer Aid

| AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR SUMMER AID? | |
| 1. | Completed your financial aid application while enrolled at our college during the academic year |
| 2. | Within your Stafford Loan annual limits |
| 3. | Year-Round Pell Grant may be awarded if the student is in a program leading to an associate degree and enrolled at least half-time, effective 7/1/2009 e.g. FT fall 2008 = $2675 FT spring 2009 = $2675 HT Summer 2009 = $1338 |
| 4. | Taking at least one three credit KAU course, refer to our Distance Policy |
Summer class schedules are published by the Admissions Office around
Mid-March. Examine the schedule and meet with a Counselor to determine
whether the course(s) are applicable to your KauaiCC degree. Summer
session is considered an optional enrollment period and state tuition assistance
may not be available. | |
| A separate Summer Pell Application (19KB) is required. If you are eligible, your summer award will be posted to your MyUH Portal. Disbursement will be made ten days prior to the first day of summer session to first pay for your courses. Refunds will be processed by the Central UH Cashier's Office. |
