AMT 40H – Engine Performance II

Class hours: 2 lecture and 9 lab
Prereq: Qualified for ENG 21 and MATH 50. “C” or higher in AMT 40E.
Comments: Credit by exam is not an available option.
Description: Computer engine management systems of domestic and foreign cars are studied in this course. Covers theory of operation, diagnosis and repair of sensors, actuators, and on-board computers. Use of scanners, digital storage oscilloscopes, digital graphing multi-meters, and DVOM’s are covered.
