culture through legendary,
archaeological, ethnographic, and
historic sources. Prehistory of Hawai‘i
is designed for the layperson who is
interested in a general course on the
culture of Hawai‘i prior to 1778. ANTH
220 concentrates on the early human
use of and adaptation to the
geography and environment
of these islands.
