Description: Students will acquire a working knowledge of the tools and techniques of Adobe Photoshop®, as they are applied to graphic design, multi-media, and other studio art applications. It is intended to build on the ART 190B course. The course will cover: advanced operation of tools and palettes, file formats, preparing and optimizing images for the web, transferring files, masks, paths and channels, color adjustment for printing and prepress production, advanced filters, animation for the web, and general tips.
