Comments: Credit by exam is not an available option. A two-night campout
is included.
Description: This interdisciplinary course deals with cultural differences
and the way
these differences disrupt communication between people of varying
cultural backgrounds. The course explores ways of broaching cultural
barriers and building a new cross-cultural framework of ideas and
attitudes. The workshop format includes discussion groups, brief lectures,
audio-visual materials, and group field assignments.
