IS 103 – Introduction to College

Description: Introduction to College is a comprehensive
first-year experience course for incoming and returning new students.
In IS 103, students will develop, practice, and refine success techniques
for college, including methods to enhance self-esteem, motivation, goal setting,
time management and career exploration, scheduling, study habits and skills,
dealing with the unexpected, understanding college culture and using resources,
test-taking skills, written and oral communication, research skills, computer
literacy, critical thinking, team-building, and networking within the college community.
