MATH 22 – Pre-Algebra

Prereq: Acceptable math placement test score.
Recommended: Concurrent enrollment in MATH 99V (1cr.).
Description: This course allows students to
investigate real-life situations and to recognize
the importance of mathematics in their own lives.
Topics of study include, but are not limited to,
basic geometry and statistics, the real number system,
variables and algebraic expressions, ratios and proportions,
and simple linear equations. The primary focus of this course
is to motivate and prepare students for algebra and beyond.
