Kauai Community College offers its students international experiences KCC students desiring to study abroad can particiapte in a number of programs offered both through its own campus and through UH system-wide opportunites.

2010-2011 International
Education Opportunities:
  • Honda Scholarship for International Study – $4,000 - $8,000 in financial assistance to study anywhere in the world
  • Hakuoh University International Study Tour – 10-day summer homestay in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan
  • Aichi University Exchange Program – One semester or one year student exchange program in Aichi, Japan
  • Monbukagakusho Scholarship – One year of intensive Japanese language study followed by two years at a Senshu-gakko (specialized training college) in Japan


Deadlines are fast approaching--February - April, 2011--for applying for scholarships.  Kaua'i CC students are strongly encourage to apply.  This is a great way to enhance, expand, and fund your learning experiences.  Kauai CC is grateful for and proud of the scholarships we have for our students!


Kaua'i Community College Academic Scholarships

  • February 15th is the final deadline to apply for our academic program scholarships for the 2010 - 2011 year.


  • April 1st is the Priority Deadline to submit your completed Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2011 - 2012.


  • August 1st deadline for Fall and January 15th for Spring terms for Tuition Assistance Programs based on merit and need


  • April 1st deadline to submit a completed application for General Scholarships for 2011 - 2012 for all majors


  • Mid-September 15th for Fall; Mid February for Spring deadlines for Department scholarships
