The Kauai Community College Nursing Program is located on the Puhi Campus near the county seat and main population center of Lihue.  The Kauai Community College Career Ladder Nursing Program prepares the student to sit for Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) licensure after one calendar year of study and/or  Registered Nursing (RN) licensure after 2 years of study.  The program is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing which facilitates smooth entry into Baccalaureate schools of nursing should education beyond the Associate in Science in Nursing be desired at a later time.

The facilities on campus to support the nursing program include:

• Four classrooms with Internet linkage and full audiovisual support
• Two high-tech simulation lab
• Two six-seven station teaching clinical skills labs
• A 5 station multimedia lab with Internet access, printers, scanner, and computer aided instruction technology
• Wireless notebook computers for in-house student use
• Faculty offices near classroom
• A nurse-managed Campus Wellness Center
• Learning Resource Center which includes the Library, Learning Center, and Computer Resource Center
