What is a University Center?

University Centers were established to provide opportunities for quality higher education to students, who are unable to attend the UH campus offering their program of choice. University Centers are located on Kaua`i, Maui, and in West Hawai`i.

Where is the University Center on Kauai located?

The University Center is located in the One Stop Center Room 206 at Kaua`i Community College.

Does a University Center award degrees?

University Centers do not award degrees or certificates. The degrees and certificates are awarded by the university campuses who offer the program(s).

The Centers may have different degrees and certificates depending on each community's higher education priorities and the Center's ability to receive and support the courses and services.

What are the University Center hours?

Fall and Spring semesters:

        Monday - Friday:  7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Center is closed on weekends and on holidays.
